The Zoo

Today we went to the San Francisco Zoo

I was a tad concerned about what might happen when we first got there.

But the locals made us comfy

But as soon as we got on the Zoo's choo choo, I got really enthusiastic.

We saw bears and lions and penguins.  I loved the big cockaroaches in the insect zoo.

And, eventually, I hung out by the monkeys

And, at the end of the day, I got a bubble gun

I hate being sick

Today I was sick.  I woke up and when Dada said, "Good morning, how are you?"  I said, "Not good."

Then he checked my forehead.  We drove Ty Ty to Aunty Les's, and I said, "Dada, why do you check my head?"

And he said, "Because I'm looking to see if you're hot.  If you have a fever."

"Daaaadaaaa, I have a fever...  I'm sick.  I wanna stay home and watch Star Wars."

While at home, every time I stood up and walked around, I'd let out a little whimper whenever I'd pass Daddy.

I turned in early.

I hate being sick.

Last night, me and Tyler stayed with Gramma and Papa in San Jose.

We went to the park...

Then, Papa took us out for ice cream,

stomp rocket

Me and Dada and Ty Ty played Stomp rocket outside with the neighbor boy that has an electric dirt bike, Austin, while the Cable Guy was putting up a satelite dish.

I'm very excited because I think satellite dishes are really cool.

Dada's going to the Radiohead concert tonight and I'm staying with granma and papa.  We're going to granpa Tom's birthday dinner.

Mommy left today for Chicago to take care of Grandpa Steve.  We'll miss her, but we'll make sure to put up a new post every day to keep her company.

Dada's home on a staycation -- and yesterday he went to the Goant Farm with me, mommy, and Ty Ty.  When we were there, we met my buddy Rusty.

It was so sunny, I had to wear shades on the way to the Farm.

Speaking of eye wear -- I have a pair of swim goggles.  Of course, I don't swim yet, so I'm using them as rolling-around-on-the-bed-while-watching-cartoons-in-the-morning goggles

The other day, mommy took me to see Great Granma Marty and Great Aunt Janet in Rohnert Park.
