Here's Come Sammy CottonTail
Easter was last weekend. Mom and Dad and Bowser and I went to the Bunnies and Bonnets parade in Campbell, CA. The Golden Gate Basset Rescue was marching in the parade, and we joined in with them (when basset hound parade, it's called a waddle)
The next day was Easter:

Cut it up!
Mommy, daddy, and me went to Hakone Gardens in Saratoga this weekend. It was real pretty, you can see some pictures of it here.
What's one thing you notice about the picture above? No, not my cute new fishy PJ's. And, not my fancy footwork. Give up? My hand is in my mouth. why?
( M I L E S T O N E : )
BECAUSE I CUT MY FIRST TOOTH!
It's a small front tooth in my jaw, and its really making me cranky. Mom and dad are happier that I am growing healthily rather than irritated that I'm irritated.

Tucson Two-Step
On Friday the 20th, mom, dad, and I boarded a plane to Tucson because my dad's cousin Peter married his girlfriend Hannah on Saturday the 21st.
I was so brave. I slept the whole way to Arizona, and only fidgeted a little bit on the way back because the pressure got to me on the descents to LA and then to San Francisco.
Here are some of the pictures of me with my family.
Peter and Hannah got married on the 10th Tee of the Turquoise Valley Golf Course, the oldest course in Arizona. Only about 100 yards from the Mexican border in Naco.

after they kissed, Peter and Hannah teed off, no easy feat in a wedding dress and a 2 piece suit

gramps pretty much hogged me up all weekend

cousin Aliaja was the strongest competition with grandpa for title of Sammy Hog

cousins KK and Bella thought I'd have fun in Bella's pink room
On Sunday, a bunch of the family went to Tombstone where we bought dumb stuff and saw lots of cowboys and historical stuff.

Arizona was fun. I had lots of fun on the plane trips. And mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and me took one of those old timey pictures too (Grandpa Ruben was, of course, an unruly Mexican that don't need no stinkin' badjez).

The First Roll (and other things)
Last week, I had a doctor's appointment.
I found out I'm 16 pounds and 25 inches long, which pretty much puts me in the top 95th percentile of 4 month-olds. Dad already called the University of Washington to tell them to reserve the left tackle position or me in 2027 (most of you old people think that 2027 sounds super-futuristic but to me it just sounds just about right).

Dr. Gilless said I'm totally healthy, but for this sensitive skin I have that gives me a dry scalp and dry patches around my knees and hands. It itches so much that sometimes I scratch little cuts into my head :o(
The doc gave me some ointment though and mom and dad have been using olive oil on scalp before baths. The stuff works pretty good.

The other day, mom met dad at work and I saw dad's buddy Ed. We were so embarrassed because we happened to wear the same clothes to work. Of course, I made Ed go home and change.
MILESTONE: I rolled over!
Yeah, with my size and natural athletic ability, I might just skip college and go straight to the pros.
